Duties of Program Managers

 

Chaplain They are responsible for saying an invocation at the meetings. They are also responsible of sending out birthday and anniversary cards to the members. Also to notify the membership either in the newsletter or on Facebook of deaths, births, and any other news about the membership. They are responsible of maintaining the Nebraska JCI Senate Prayers and Hallelujah page on Facebook.

 

Membership They are responsible of maintaining the roster of the members and also notifying National of Adds, Drops, and Changes of names and addresses. The Adds and Drops are done when the dues are to be turned in at December and June. Changes of addresses can be done at anytime. They are also responsible for sending dues billing to the yearly members.

 

Newsletter Editor Their main responsibility to the receive articles from the Executive Board and any Program Managers and compile them in a newsletter that is mailed out to all members at their last known address and also email to those members that requested an email copy. The newsletter is also sent out to the National Executive Officers (President, Admin Vice-President, Secretary and the Region VI National Vice-President as well as the other states in our region.

 

Products They are responsible for offering Senate Products to the membership. They can be either Nebraska JCI Senate shirts, caps, coats or get the items from the National JCI Senate Products Program Manager.

 

Social Director They are responsible for having a hospitality room at any Jaycee/JCI Senate meetings. They are also responsible for maintaining an inventory of items for use in the hospitality room. Also responsible for promoting quarterly socials that are around the state.

 

Website/Social Media They are responsible for maintaining the Nebraska JCI Senate website which is hosted on the National JCI Senate website as well as maintaining the Nebraska JCI Senate Facebook page.

 

Ways and Means Their main responsibility is to come up with fundraising ideas to make money for the treasurer.

 

SOAR (Senate Outreach Activation and Retention). They are responsible on getting in touch with New Senators and getting them to join the organization. Getting in touch with inactive Senators and try and get them to come back to become active in the organization. Also work the membership director and get the yearly members to renew their membership in the organization.
